Participation in the congress requires a valid registration. Registration is individual and non-transferable.

All participants must register on the platform, regardless of their role in the congress (authors, co-authors, coordinators, co-coordinators, moderators, debaters, etc.). Registration will only be validated once this has been done and payment has been made via the platform. Only participants with a valid registration will be able to communicate (in person or online).

In the event of withdrawal, participants can request a refund at secretariado.apantropologia@gmail.com. Up until June 15, 2025, the full registration fee will be refunded, minus any bank and platform usage fees charged automatically. After June 15, 2025, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. No refund requests will be accepted after July 1, 2025.

There will be no publication of conference proceedings. The digital book of abstracts will be available on the congress website. Panel coordinators are free to compile the papers presented in their panels with a view to publishing them in themed issues of journals, books, etc.

Certificates can only be requested after the end of the event and will be available on the congress platform for all participants with associated valid registration and check-in.

The “Venue” > “Accommodation” page contains information on university residences and hotels in Viana do Castelo with which we have a discount agreement for bookings made by congress participants. The list will be updated over the coming weeks.

The Secretariat will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on July 16, 17, and 18. Congress check-in can be done at the Secretariat starting from 9 a.m. on July 16.
